The drive spent 3 months in 2013 in preproduction. This included script writing, revisions, table reads and rehearsals, casting, and location scouting. It was due to the generosity of those who supported the project to lend the locations and sets for filming.

 

Shooting began in February of 2014 and concluded July 2015. The six month schedule was updated on a regular basis and was excedingly successful.  The production continued filming all eight episodes as they continued to film out of sequence to ensure the most effective and efficient use of locations and actors. Without the talent, the show does not go on.

 

THE DRIVE originated as an eight episode series and was adapted to become a feature film. The adaptation is now complete and THE DRIVE is a 2 hour feature film. It has been submitted to Sundance Film Festival (2017) and will be submitted to others. We are very excited about the new version of the project.
